Council Cleaner (Part-time) - Erub Island

An exciting opportunity is available for a Council Cleaner to join the TSIRC team at Division 14, Erub Island

About the role:

As a Cleaner, you will provide consistent and high-quality cleaning services for Council facilities, contributing to a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for the community and staff. You will ensure that Council workplaces, accommodation, amenities, and other facilities are maintained in a clean, tidy, and hygienic condition. Your role supports the delivery of a safe and usable environment for staff and visitors by performing routine and detailed cleaning duties efficiently and effectively.

What We're Looking For

We need someone who shares our values of One, Respect, Accountability, Courage, and Resilience. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 1 year practical experience and/or knowledge in industrial cleaning procedures and techniques and materials used.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and safe chemical use.
  • Workplace health and safety awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Class C Drivers Licence would be highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to follow instructions and attention to detail.
