Multi Skilled Administration Officer - Erub (Part Time)

An exciting opportunity is available for a Part Time Administration Officer to join the TSIRC team on Erub Island (Division 14). This is a fixed term position until 31 December 2025, offering meaningful work in a vibrant community setting.

  • Based at Division 14, Erub Island
  • Part time, Fixed Term until 31.12.25 (18 hours per week), Monday - Friday

About the role:

As a Multi Skilled Administration Officer, you will provide high quality customer service and efficient ladministration. Duties include the sale and processing of power cards, gas, fuel, postal services and visitor accommodation bookings.

What We're Looking For:

We need someone who shares our values of One, Respect, Accountability, Courage, and Resilience. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 12 month's administration experience.
  • Certificate III in Business Administration and or previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills in a frontline role.
  • High level of attention to detail and time management skills with the ability to plan, manage and prioritise workloads
  • Excellent computer skills to operate a computer and electronic communication devices and processes
  • The ability to be culturally responsive, by demonstrating an understanding of the issues affecting Torres Strait Islander people and communicating with sensitivity and effectiveness.
